Where to start: planning and a timeline
The first step is to pick a date and lock it — mid-week and mid-month are almost always cheaper with movers. From there you work backward: notice to the landlord, booking the move, packing, and paperwork with the municipality.

Price is driven mainly by how many items you have, floor and access (elevator or stairs), distance, and extras like a crane for large furniture. A 3–4 room move within the same city typically ranges from a few hundred to a few thousand shekels, depending on all of these.

Fewer things, an easier move: sort and declutter
Before you pack, you sort. Go room by room and decide for each item: moving, storage, sell, donate, or discard. Something you haven’t used in a year almost never needs to move.

Packing right — so you can actually unpack
